From our counter
Carp, trout, salmon, tuna, sea bream, sea bass and squid, depending on the day's catch.
Website for a fishmonger and seafood kitchen at the Banja Luka market hall. From counter to table in three steps: what's fresh today, how the fish is cooked and how to order via Viber, plus fish platters for fasting-day slavas on request.

A market fishmonger lives on people who know where it is. The website is made for those who have yet to find out: the first screen shows what Ihtis does, where the counter is and an order button, with no form or registration. The message goes straight to Viber, where fish orders are arranged anyway.
Each part of the website answers one question from the counter: what's fresh today, can the fish be cleaned, how much cooking costs and where to collect the order. Guests get the answer before they get to the phone.

The most common question at the counter is how much cooking costs, so the answer is shown large: 6 KM per kilogram. Alongside it is everything the fishmonger does with fish, from cleaning and filleting to arranging platters, and the way to order.

Carp, trout, salmon, tuna, sea bream, sea bass and squid, depending on the day's catch.
Cleaning, filleting, seasoning and grilling, the way the guest likes the fish.
A family lunch or slava table, packed for collection at an agreed time.
Fish type, quantity and time are agreed in advance, by message or call.
Six dishes from the grill, from salmon and tuna to carp steaks, each with a one-line description and a takeaway label. The price depends on the type and amount of fish, so it's agreed when you order, and the Viber button sits right below.

The website draws the fish on the counter with engravings from Bloch's Ichthyologie, published from 1785 to 1797. The name Ihtis comes from the Greek word for fish, so an old ichthyology book and a family stall at the market hall meet on the same page.
The carp comes from the Jugović family's fish ponds in Sijekovac, and the website says so next to the engraving, so guests know where the fish comes from.
